White Cane Days

|
White Cane Day Can be Any Day White Cane Days is the major fund-raiser for the Foundation. The Trustees of the Foundation ask that your club do the White Cane Days fund-raiser at any time during the year even though May is known as White Cane Month. A White Cane Day involves your club members stationing themselves in strategic places on that day and giving white canes to the passersby and accepting donations. The proceeds of White Cane Days go to the Montana Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation. The Foundation provides your club with miniature white canes, balloons and other supplies you might need, without cost to your club. Just fill out the enclosed order form and return it to me as soon as possible. Your club may have a history of involvement in White Cane Days. If your club has not been involved please consider this project. If your club chooses not to be involved with White Cane Days the Foundation asks that you do a different project for the benefit of the Foundation. The Foundation must have your support if it is to succeed. For more information contact: Dennis Kopitzke, Box 1266 - 385 Oak Street, Forsyth, MT 59327, 406-346-1488, djklmk@rangeweb.net.
